The instrument was developed by the Forschungsverbund Freizeitenevaluation (consisting of EH Ludwigsburg and TH K\u00f6ln, <a href=\"https:\/\/freizeitenevaluation.de\/english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/freizeitenevaluation.de<\/a>),<\/p>\n<p>Since 2025, the EYS results can be compared with the average values of the panel study from recent years (2017\u20132024). (Part 2 i-EVAL 2025: PS17\u201324 highlighted in yellow). The comparative data is based on the average values of the panel study from 2017 to 2024 with several thousand respondents.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Why do we evaluate international youth exchanges at all?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We want to find out how the participants experienced the camp.<\/li>\n<li>We want to know whether the camp achieved what the leadership team set itself as its goal.<\/li>\n<li>The results of the evaluation provide us with a basis for reflection in the leadership team.<\/li>\n<li>We want to get indications of what should be different or exactly the same in the next camp season.<\/li>\n<li>We need the survey results to go public and report on the work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Because: &#8220;After the camp is before the camp.&#8221;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Evaluation of recent Ecumenical Youth Services with i-EVAL<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nIn 2025, 75 teenagers and young adults (participants, teamers and camp partners) took part in the EYS camps. Of these, 37 participants from 4 camps completed an online questionnaire at the end of the international youth exchange.<\/p>\n<p>The questionnaire consisted of two parts:<br \/>\n<strong>First<\/strong> participants were able to communicate their level of their contentment with general aspects of the youth exchange:<br \/>\nCampletter, Travel, Housing, Meals, Weather, Programme,\u00a0 Work, Group activities, Free time, Organisation, Rules, Fun, Atmosphere, Team, Group, Overall opinion.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/eys-workcamp.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/CampbeurteilungTN2025.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Part 1 i-EVAL 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Second<\/strong> questions were asked about specific aspects:<br \/>\nGeneral and Religion, Relation to the team, Creative work, Social learning, Culture of the host region, Language and communication, , General rating<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/eys-workcamp.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/Statistikauswertung2025_Website.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Part 2 i-EVAL 2025<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>General Information about Evaluation The Ecumenical Youth Services use an evaluation tool (online questionnaire) developed and tested on behalf of the German-French and German-Polish Jugendwerk to evaluate their work camps.
