The Arche Noah – work at the city farm
The Arche, an ecological educational project on a property of 7,000 square meters in the heart of the Ruhr Region, is pleased to host us this year again. The Arche provides an opportunity for children and young people to experience nature and animals in the middle of the city of Bottrop.

We will help the members of the farm by doing landscaping, animal support and redecoration work. We work 6 houres per day e.g. from 8:30 to 14:30. Of course along the way we will have breaks. We have our accommodation in a youth-center and not at the city-farm. On account of this, we will go by bike to work (about 15 minutes one way) Everybody who can’t or don’t like to ride a bike is unsuitable for this camp!

In our together shared free time we will visit by bike or by public transport system Bottrop and the surrounding area. E.G. the Tetraeder of Bottrop, a trip to the AQUA PARK Oberhausen, a bike tour to Oberhausen and the Gasometer, a visit to Zeche Zollverein or the Mosque of Bottrop. In addition to the excursions we plan group activities, which depend on your interest. And, you will participate in the creation of this activities. You bring with e.g. games, songs, music, dances, photos, or topics where you will work on. We are curious about your ideas! Only with your contribution, the camp will be a great experience.
