Logging
The optimization of our website is very important to us. For this reason, computer-related data is stored in order to record trends and compile statistics. For security and statistical reasons, relevant access data is stored each time the website is accessed. This serves the continuous optimization of our website, but also for purposes of identification and tracking of unauthorized access attempts to our web server. For this reason, logged data is stored and evaluated in the event of unauthorised access. The evaluation is carried out by AKD employees. User profiles are not created. No data will be passed on to third parties, even in excerpts. Depending on the access protocol used, the protocol data record contains information with the following contents:

- Date and time of the request
- access method/function desired by the requesting computer
- Input values transmitted by the requesting computer (e.g. form entries)

Use of personal data and purpose limitation
If the opportunity for the input of personal or business data (for example in the context of a Work Camp/event registration, a feedback form or a general contact form) is given, the input of these data takes place voluntarily.
All personal data collected within the scope of Internet services is processed in accordance with the applicable regulations for the protection of personal data only for the purpose of this service and to safeguard our own legitimate interests with regard to the information, advice and support of our visitors and to tailor our offerings to meet their needs.
AKD will transmit personal data to institutions (authorities) entitled to receive such information if AKD is obliged to do so by law or by court order. If this is not prohibited by law, we will inform you of this transfer.
Registration for events
You can register for various events on our website. In order to process your registration, we process the following of your data:
Mandatory fields: First name, last name, street/house number, postal code, city, country, nationality, birthday, e-mail address, mobile number, T-shirt size, language level, swimming ability, desired camp dates, gender, special needs / health, the origin of event information, motives for participation, the statement on the disclosure of contact information.
Optional Fields: Passport data, Skills, Occupation/Study/Training/School, Repeated Attendance at an Event
In order to be able to register, you must accept our reference to the processing of personal data by checkbox.
With your registration your data will be sent to us by e-mail. We transfer the data to our local database for further processing and use it to organise the event, for example as follows:
- Printout of data (name, e-mail address) in participant lists
- Transfer of data (name, activity) to management
- Use of your contact data (name, postal address, e-mail address) for sending event-relevant materials (program, material, etc.)
- Passing on your data to third parties if it is necessary to process your event booking with a cooperation partner such as an external conference venue.
With the complete handling of an event your data given to us for the event will be deleted from our database.
If you agree to receive further information, invitations and event information about the Ecumenical Youth Services, we will save your first name, surname and e-mail address. You can revoke your consent at any time by e-mail.
Contact/application form
If you send us enquiries via the contact/application form, your details from the enquiry form including the contact data you provided there will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. These data will not be passed on without your consent.
Safety and security
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content that you send to us, our website uses SSL encryption. This means that data that you transmit via this website cannot be read by third parties. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in the address line of your browser and by the lock symbol in the browser line.
AKD uses technical and organisational security measures to protect the data you provide against accidental or deliberate manipulation or access by unauthorised persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
Changes
We reserve the right to change the data protection declaration in order to adapt it to changed legal situations or in the event of changes to the service or data processing. However, this only applies to declarations on data processing. Insofar as the consent of users is required or components of the data protection declaration contain provisions governing the contractual relationship with users, changes will only be made with the consent of users.
